GoHalve

Halve your footprint.

Measured against your own baseline — not a stranger's average. A non-profit movement that makes lowering your impact real, and provable.

Halve it — or lose it
What it is

Most climate advice tells you what to do.

GoHalve™ shows you how much it actually matters — with real measurement, tuned to your life. You don't compete with anyone. The system learns your own habits first, then helps you move down from there.

It's built around one simple goal: to halve. Water, energy, transport, diet — start with whichever you can measure. Halving is complete when you reach half of your own starting point.
How it works

Three steps. No spreadsheets.

1

Learns

The first weeks map your normal usage. That becomes your own starting point — not a stranger's average.

2

Measures

You see how your footprint moves against that point. Even partial progress is recognised — not only the full halving.

3

Verifies

Others check the result — anonymously. Your data stays with you; only the proof is shared.

Your own baseline

The system learns your environment and habits, then freezes that as your reference. You halve against yourself — fair, whatever your starting point.

Mutual verification

No central authority. Participants and devices verify each other's method — anonymously. Only the proof is recorded, never your raw data.

GoHalve Certification

A living proof, not a static badge. Verifiers can re-check over time; if results slip, the certificate is flagged, and can lapse if nothing changes.

Five footprints

Electricity, heating & cooling, transport, diet, and freshwater — each with its own honest baseline, set by the research behind GoHalve.

Your path

Roles, not ranks.

You don't collect badges. The path shows one thing: where you stand against your own baseline. Verifying others is a role alongside it, not a rung above it.

Observer
You've joined. The system is learning your starting point.
Committed
First verified reduction. You've started — that counts.
Consistent
Week after week you hold the downward trend. Consistency matters most.
Significant
Past the halfway mark. Within reach of the goal.
Halver
You halved your footprint against your own baseline. The main goal, reached.

Committed, Consistent and Significant don't come in order — you can hold more than one at once. Some reduce a little but hold it firmly; others reduce a lot but fluctuate. Both are valuable.

A role alongside the path
Verifier
You hold a steady result and you understand the method — so you can check other people’s reductions too.

This is not a step above Halver. The path measures your own footprint; this measures your command of the method. You can halve without ever verifying, and you can verify long before you halve — the entry point is a consistently held result, not the finish line.

The network

Who stands behind it

GoHalve is part of the Equora Institute network, where everyone has their role.

GoHalve

The movement. Measures results and shows how much you've achieved together.

Equora Institute

The research. Decides what halving means, keeps the numbers honest.

EquoraVault

The measuring engine. Learns your environment, keeps verification reliable and anonymous.

iterators.org

The community. Where people meet and the network grows.

Your data is yours

GoHalve never publishes how much you consume. The system only records that you reduced — verifiably. The bill, the reading, the details stay with you. Verification is anonymous: others check the method, not your identity.
